Cookie Policy
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies 7ART uses, why, and the choices you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Some disappear when you close the browser (session cookies); others persist so the site can recognise you next time (persistent cookies). Similar technologies, such as localStorage, store data the same way without being sent with every request.
Essential cookies — always on
These make the service work. They are set only when you use the feature they serve, and no consent is required for them:
- genescape_session — keeps you signed in. Persistent, first-party.
- genescape_access_token and genescape_refresh_token — connect your 7ART account to our payment and account platform while you are signed in. First-party.
- genescape:cookie_consent — remembers the choice you make in the cookie banner, so we do not ask again. Stored for up to one year.
Analytics cookies — only with your consent
In regions where consent is required (the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), these run only after you choose “Accept all” in the banner:
- Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) — helps us understand which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. Persists up to 2 years. Google provides an opt-out browser add-on.
- Amplitude (AMP_*) — product analytics: which features are used and where people get stuck. A sample of sessions may be recorded as anonymised interaction replays to diagnose usability problems.
If you decline, these are not set — and any previously set identifiers are removed from your browser.
Cookieless measurement
Two services we use identify no one and set no cookies, so they run regardless of the banner:
- Vercel Speed Insights — anonymous page-speed measurements (how fast pages load for real visitors).
- Datafast — cookieless, aggregate visit counts for our marketing pages. We also collect first-party product events (for example, “a video was generated”) tied to your account under our Privacy Policy — these ride your session and set no additional cookies.
Your choices
You can change your decision at any time — the button below reopens the banner. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings; the service keeps working, though you will be signed out.
